Formative Assessment

Traditional and social media have many differences in the way they share information and news.Traditional media is the old version of providing information and usually is reporters reporting and posting their stories onto websites such as New York Times and Washington Post.It is usually based on facts and opinions of people that have actually experienced the event or story.Social media is the media mostly based on opinionated postings of random people and how they feel about the event or stroy. This is usually posted on websites such as facebook, twitter and myspace. This type of media gives more freedom to people with opinions in restricted governments.
My writing on the web is different form traditional news writing because my writings are more precise and direct. The sentences i use are more simple than the wirtings on traditional news writings so readers will not get confused or bored.I don't mention unimportant or irrelevent people so the reader won't get sidetracked."Long, convoluted sentences, which may read very nicely in print (such as this one), will often seem forbidding onscreen."
Blogging tweeting and texting provide new outlets to the way people receive their news.Nowadays people get the news from forwards, blog post and tweeters.Noone really looks forward to watching the real factual news because it takes too long or its not very precise.
Media is changing in the distribution revolution because now people base their lives on new media and it is becoming the number one source of commuication among people."We were able to connect with people all over the commuity who seeing the same thing... look at what this can do in a situation like this."
